The Direct Support Professional (DSP) — Weekend Evenings role is onsite in Bloomfield, CT, supporting work at the Wethersfield location. Pay is $19.50–$20.00 per hour, and the schedule is 17 hours per week: Friday 3:30–8:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday 2:00–8:00 PM. The role supports people with developmental, intellectual, or physical disabilities through personalized care. The DSP helps clients with daily living, personal goals, and community participation while promoting independence, dignity, and safety. The role also includes following individualized service plans, documenting care, and communicating changes in clients’ health or well-being.

What you'll do

• Assist with personal care and daily living activities
• support community outings and social activities
• provide transportation to appointments and programs
• help with meals and household tasks
• implement individualized service plans
• supervise for health and safety
• complete daily notes and electronic records
• report changes in clients’ health
• respond to emergencies and use CPR/First Aid when necessary
• follow confidentiality, HIPAA, DDS, and agency policies.
