Vice President of Finance

The Vice President of Finance role is onsite in Long Beach, CA, with expected starting compensation of $150,000–$175,000 annually. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson provides youth with a safe environment, adult mentors, and programs that support lifelong learning. As the senior finance leader reporting to the CEO, the Vice President provides strategic financial direction and oversees accounting, reporting, controls, compliance, and stewardship of funds. The role aligns resources with program priorities and supports the organization’s Clubhouse and eight school-based programs.

What you'll do

• Advise the CEO and executive team on financial sustainability, performance, risk, and growth
• lead long-range planning, budgets, forecasts, and reporting
• oversee accounting operations and internal controls
• manage grants, contracts, restricted funds, and compliance
• lead audits and support Board finance and audit committees
• manage external financial relationships
• recruit, supervise, and develop finance staff.
