It also contributes to safe operations through hazard reporting, adherence to work instructions, equipment checks, and orderly plant and workshop conditions.

What you'll do

• Perform mechanical plant maintenance safely and efficiently
• report hazards, incidents, near misses, and maintenance issues
• monitor the plant environment for safety
• contribute to pre-start and toolbox sessions and work instruction development
• operate forklifts and similar equipment as required
• work in confined spaces and at heights as required
• troubleshoot, disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble rotating equipment including pumps, gear reducers, blowers, and mechanical seals
• use precision measuring equipment
• install tubing and compression fitting systems
• install equipment to manufacturer specifications and required alignment, balance, and tolerances
• prepare teardown and repair reports
• maintain plant, workshop, and site housekeeping.
