Dental Assistant

The Dental Assistant role is onsite in Midland, TX, with compensation of $17–$22 per hour. Basin Dentistry’s dental team supports patient care and smooth daily clinic operations. The role helps dentists deliver treatment by preparing rooms, assisting chairside, supporting patients, and maintaining clean, organized, and properly sterilized treatment areas. It also provides administrative support as needed.

What you'll do

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals
• hand instruments to the dentist and anticipate procedural needs
• help patients feel comfortable
• greet and prepare patients, review medical histories, update records, and provide post-procedure instructions and oral hygiene education
• sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
• maintain supplies and operatory readiness
• assist with scheduling, billing, insurance processing, charting, and treatment documentation as needed.
