Cook and Chill Technician — First Shift

Job overview

The Cook and Chill Technician role is onsite in Carrollton, GA, with compensation of $15–$17 per hour. The first shift runs 6 a.m.–6 p.m., with days varying. The technician carries out cook-and-chill processes by preparing tanks and equipment, monitoring temperatures and performance, recording product information, and moving product through processing while following food and employee safety procedures.

What you'll do

• Prepare cook or chill tanks and dollies
• monitor water levels, temperatures, and equipment performance
• record product and cook information
• select recipe programs
• move product racks to the next process phase
• take hand-probe temperature readings
• maintain a safe, clean work environment
• operate a jeep/walker for product movement
• follow food safety programs.
