Claims Investigator — Part Time

Job overview

The Part-Time Claims Investigator role is onsite in Orlando, Florida, and surrounding areas, with daily travel within the assigned territory. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. Advantage Investigations conducts insurance defense investigations to help clients assess claims and investigate potential fraud. The investigator reviews case materials, plans investigative approaches with a manager, locates subjects, and conducts claim-related investigations. The role also produces timely written updates, supporting evidence, and final reports while handling confidential information.

What you'll do

• Investigate auto, property, liability, and workers’ compensation claims
• review assignments and supporting documentation before field work
• consult with a manager on case strategies
• locate subjects and conduct applicable investigations, including alive-and-well checks, recorded statements, and scene investigations
• prepare daily updates, photos, audio recordings, diagrams, and final reports.
