Job overview
The Week Night Resident Advisor role is onsite in Albany, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM (40 hours). Compensation is $16 per hour. The role supports Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany’s Housing Office and its residential site operations. The Resident Advisor helps maintain tenant, staff, and property safety through regular building rounds, incident documentation, and attention to security and health concerns. The role also supports emergency readiness and communicates maintenance or system issues to the Site Manager.
What you'll do
- Make rounds every two hours to check doors, windows, stairwells, visitors, and common areas
- document reportable incidents
- maintain the Resident Advisor log book
- report smoke detection, fire alarm, or security system failures
- assist with snow removal and salting as needed
- participate in fire watches as needed and maintain routine availability for emergencies with the Site Manager and Director of SRO Housing.
