The Facilities Maintenance Technician, First Shift role is onsite at Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus in Rockford, IL. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; starting pay for a high school diploma or GED is $22.47 per hour. Rosecrance provides behavioral health services focused on compassionate care and evidence-based recovery. The technician maintains safe, functional, and professional facilities across assigned locations. The role responds to work orders, performs routine and preventive repairs, and coordinates with staff and contractors to support facility operations and patient-care environments.

What you'll do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance and repairs to building interiors, common areas, fixtures, equipment, grounds, and exteriors. Complete minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs within training and authorization
• document and close work orders in the maintenance system
• travel between assigned facilities
• assist with snow and ice removal and grounds upkeep
• coordinate contractor access
• and respond to urgent maintenance needs outside normal hours as required.
