The role maintains systematic business transaction records and supports the assigned business unit’s financial processes. It assists with weekly closing and reporting, account reconciliation, payroll calculations, and customer interactions to help keep the operation’s records accurate and organized.

What you'll do

• Maintain records of business transactions
• assist the Controller with reports and weekly closing
• post transaction details to journals or computer files
• summarize ledger information and reconcile accounts
• compile statistics on receipts, expenditures, payables, receivables, and profit and loss
• calculate employee wages from time cards and submit payroll registers
• may prepare tax reports, customer statements, or trial balances.
