This role exists to lead office-based and field survey operations for land development and infrastructure projects. The manager ensures data accuracy, mentors staff, and maintains regulatory compliance to support project success.

What you'll do

• Conduct and oversee diverse types of Surveys including Boundary, Topography, ALTA/NSPS, Construction Staking, Bathymetric, Drone, 3D Scanning, etc.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage survey projects to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets
• Communicate with coworkers and clients to understand their overall needs, provide updates, and deliver high-quality service
• Complete Health and Safety Plan (HASP) prior to field crew performing site work
• Prepare, review, and interpret legal documents, including deeds, plats, and easements
• Ensure all survey activities comply with state and local regulations and standards
• Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to collect and analyze data
• Mentor and train junior surveyors and technicians
• Conduct on-site surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying instruments
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment.

HS Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

Minimum of 6 years of experience in professional surveying
