BIM Manager

Job overview

The BIM Manager role is available on a hybrid schedule in Sacramento, CA. Compensation is $125,000–$130,000 per year. The position supports TYPSA project teams working on vertical architectural and horizontal civil projects. The manager applies Building Information Modeling (BIM) methodology and Integrated Digital Delivery to improve collaboration and project workflows. The role coordinates models, standards, quality plans, digital tools, and delivery practices across internal teams, clients, and external organizations.

What you'll do

• Coordinate with project managers on BIM strategies, execution plans, and workflows
• advise on BIM-related quality plans and criteria
• audit information models and delivery plans
• support production teams in applying BIM methodology and contract standards
• coordinate with external organizations’ BIM managers
• support design technologies and digital delivery
• assemble federated models and perform clash detection
• manage common data environments with IT
• support complex modeling, data management, analysis, and optimization
• support design tool development and interoperability workflows
• assist with learning materials
• lead BIM meetings
• participate in automation scripting using Revit API, Dynamo, and Grasshopper for Rhino.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, information technology, or a related discipline; at least two years of relevant BIM experience or equivalent; experience with infrastructure projects and Autodesk tools; and fluency in English and Spanish. A hybrid work schedule is available.
