Lead, Technology Operations and Cybersecurity

Job overview

The Lead, Technology Operations and Cybersecurity role is onsite in McLean, VA. Compensation is $100,000–$125,000 per year. The role supports Madison Energy Infrastructure, a developer, investor, and operator of distributed generation and clean energy infrastructure projects. The lead owns day-to-day technology operations and coordinates the cybersecurity program and managed technology partners. The role helps keep systems secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs while improving employee technology support and enabling company growth.

What you'll do

• Administer and improve the technology ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, enterprise applications, and business systems
• manage technology vendors
• support employee technology needs
• oversee user lifecycle, identity and access, endpoints, software licensing, and assets
• coordinate cybersecurity activities including incident response, vulnerability management, governance, policies, and runbooks
• report on service performance, security posture, and risk
• partner on business technology solutions and security awareness.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree in IT, information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, or related field; 2–5 years of relevant experience. Experience with managed service providers and third-party technology vendors is preferred; industry certifications are preferred but not required.
