The Special Educator, Early Intervention and SEIS is an onsite role serving Suffolk County, NY. Early Intervention pay is $64–$75 per hour; preschool pay is $55–$60 per hour. Family of Kidz supports children with special needs and their families, helping children build skills for greater independence and quality of life. The educator provides individualized lessons for children in Early Intervention or preschool programs, targeting goals in their Individualized Family Service Plan or Individualized Education Program. The role tracks and reports progress and collaborates with families, supervisors, and multidisciplinary teams.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized lessons targeting IFSP or IEP goals
• develop creative, multisensory lessons
• collect information and report quarterly on children’s progress
• communicate with supervisors and multidisciplinary teams
• maintain attendance and submit electronic billing daily
• attend professional development and IEP/IFSP meetings
• maintain professional communication with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
