What you'll do

• Greet and triage patients
• collect vital signs and histories
• perform venipuncture and CLIA-waived point-of-care tests
• assist with minor procedures, wound care, EKGs, and nebulizer therapy
• register patients and verify insurance
• collect co-pays and reconcile payment logs
• maintain EMR accuracy
• provide patient education and discharge instructions
• participate in huddles
• maintain compliance logs and follow infection-control and HIPAA standards.
