Flex Teacher

The Flex Teacher role is onsite in Ann Arbor, MI, with pay of $14–$14.75 per hour. The teacher supports Apple Playschools’ early childhood education programs, including outdoor and Spanish immersion, at its Ann Arbor facilities. It helps maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment and may provide substitute coverage at other sites.

What you'll do

• Support apprentice and mentor teachers in early childhood education
• design learning activities and create experiences
• build partnerships with students, parents, and community members
• contribute to a fun, welcoming, and organized environment
• ensure participant safety and report concerns under licensing guidelines
• substitute for another teacher as needed
• perform simple cleaning and food preparation when asked
• occasionally substitute at other sites.
