Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite at Village of Hampton Meadows in Bay City, MI. Compensation is $22 per hour. Presbyterian Villages of Michigan is a faith-based nonprofit providing senior living and services, and this role supports quality living for the seniors it serves. The technician maintains the community’s buildings, equipment, systems, and grounds to support safe, functional operations. Work includes inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, landscaping and snow removal, event setup, security checks, and documenting work requests.

What you'll do

• Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment
• test, maintain, and repair mechanical devices and building systems
• perform preventive maintenance
• repair appliances, electrical and plumbing systems, and building surfaces
• provide landscaping and snow removal
• prepare areas for activities
• monitor building security and safety
• enter work requests in the electronic system
• attend meetings and training
• follow organizational and regulatory procedures.

Why this role

One to two years of related maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation are required. On-call availability for maintenance emergencies is required.
