What you'll do

• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical systems, piping, process equipment, and related electrical integrations
• research material, labor, and subcontractor costs
• use estimating software to prepare calculations and bids
• identify value-engineering opportunities
• maintain cost databases
• review plans, specifications, and technical documents
• support scheduling and resource allocation
• obtain vendor and subcontractor quotes
• coordinate with project managers and engineering teams.
