The Prep Cook works onsite in Waipahu, HI; compensation is $14–$16 per hour. Highway Inn is a third-generation-owned Hawaiian and local food restaurant that serves traditional Hawaiian dishes and local favorites.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook food using grills and other commercial kitchen equipment
• wash, sanitize, and return kitchen items
• clean and restock preparation areas
• follow portioning, food-safety, temperature, and presentation standards
• maintain kitchen and back-of-house areas
• and assist coworkers with guest service. The role may also assist with catering preparation, cooking, or serving.
