What you'll do

• Answer incoming calls
• update patient demographic information in the electronic health record
• schedule appointments
• explain required appointment documentation
• monitor and respond to voicemails
• direct and escalate calls appropriately
• document communications
• make outbound calls to cancel or reschedule appointments and arrange follow-ups
• verify insurance coverage
• prepare patient charts and send pre-visit communications
• assist with administrative projects as call volume permits.
