What you'll do

• Supervise, coordinate, and direct nursing assistants
• provide nursing care according to resident care plans
• assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges
• administer prescribed medications and treatments
• explain procedures and treatments
• observe vital signs and patient progress
• maintain medical records of observations and care
• record nursing needs in care plans
• observe emotional well-being and prepare residents for continuing care after discharge.
