What you'll do

• Monitor passengers for safety
• assist students entering and exiting the bus
• perform bus safety checks
• know routes and monitor passengers while en route
• check for sleeping children
• assist the driver with safe backing when needed
• conduct emergency evacuations
• communicate behavior issues and bus-stop conditions
• liaise with parents as needed
• help maintain bus cleanliness
• occasionally attend field trips and special events.
