Lead Avionics Technician

The Lead Avionics Technician role is onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Compensation is $45 per hour. Aviation Support Florida performs aircraft maintenance, and this role is responsible for airworthiness after maintenance at the facility. The role supports safe return to service through quality oversight, training, and protection of customer aircraft and equipment.

What you'll do

• Provide consultation on assigned aircraft work
• lead and perform troubleshooting, repairs, and return-to-service actions
• supervise one to three avionics mechanics or technicians
• ensure paperwork is complete and compliant
• ensure equipment is used properly and safeguards protect customer aircraft and equipment
• monitor and report team performance, productivity, quality, and safety
• provide on-the-job training.

Why this role
