What you'll do

• Operate specialized vehicles and heavy equipment, including loaders, dump trucks, bulldozers, graders, backhoes, and tractors
• perform construction, maintenance, and repair work on sewers, water pipes, valves, and hydrants
• inspect and maintain equipment
• haul materials and transport equipment
• perform traffic control as needed
• respond to emergencies outside normal scheduled hours
• complete logs and reports
• cross-train crews in work methods and safety.
