Assistant Project Estimator

It works with estimators and project stakeholders to identify scope requirements, risks, and potential value engineering opportunities.

What you'll do

• Assist with construction estimates from conceptual designs through detailed plans and specifications
• perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam or other on-screen software
• solicit, organize, and compare subcontractor and vendor proposals
• prepare bid summaries, scope sheets, cost breakdowns, and supporting documents
• review drawings and specifications for scope requirements, discrepancies, and risks
• support RFIs and value engineering ideas
• maintain cost data and bid records
• participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and bid reviews as needed.
