The Major Gifts Officer is an onsite role based in Houston, TX, with a salary range of $90,000 - $95,000 per year. This position supports the American National Red Cross in its mission to provide humanitarian aid and disaster relief services. This role exists to drive major gift fundraising and deepen relationships with individual donors. The officer is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and stewarding donors at the $5,000+ level to ensure long-term philanthropic growth and support for urgent organizational needs.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with leadership to create and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan.
• Lead the identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual donors capable of giving $5,000 or more annually.
• Mobilize donors quickly and effectively during disaster relief efforts.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in Salesforce to support effective prospecting and stewardship.
