The Vice President of Administration and Finance role is onsite in Stone Ridge, New York. The initial starting salary is $142,600–$154,600 per year, commensurate with education, training, and experience. The position serves as SUNY Ulster’s chief financial officer and reports to the College President. The vice president provides financial and operational leadership, safeguards the college’s resources, and aligns budgets and administrative services with student success, institutional priorities, and long-term sustainability. The role advises the president and oversees a broad portfolio of college departments and operations.

What you'll do

• Develop and oversee financial operations, strategy, budgets, accounting, and fiscal controls
• provide financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning
• advise the president
• supervise Accounting, Student Accounts, Purchasing, Central Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, Plant Operations, Public Safety, and Health Services
• oversee capital projects
• ensure regulatory and fiscal compliance
• manage contracts and support the college’s association as board treasurer.
