The Project Engineer – 1st Shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) role is onsite in Baldwin, WI, with compensation of $80,000–$125,000 per year. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Vital Plastics supports customer projects involving plastic injection molding and production. The engineer coordinates projects from quotation and feasibility review through design, tooling development, validation, customer approval, and production transfer. The role aligns customer requirements, manufacturing capabilities, schedules, budgets, and quality expectations while coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers.

What you'll do

• Review customer requests for quotation, specifications, and requirements
• assess part designs, tooling, materials, and manufacturing feasibility
• prepare technical quotations and proposals with Sales
• plan and manage projects through design, tooling, validation, approval, and production transfer
• coordinate project meetings and communicate status, risks, and technical updates
• review CAD models and quality documentation
• coordinate tooling changes and provide technical support to Production and Quality
• maintain project records.
