Field Services Operations Technician

Job overview

The Field Services Operations Technician role is onsite in Hendersonville, NC; compensation is $34 per hour. The position provides end-user technology support at the customer site. The technician resolves IT issues across computers, mobile devices, printers, and other equipment, and carries out installation, move, add, change, and disposal work. The role coordinates service requests and equipment readiness to minimize disruption to users and business operations.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot end-user issues involving PCs, tablets, phones, printers, and other IT devices
• perform workstation and peripheral disconnects and reconnects, imaging, reimaging, software installation, and equipment setup
• support IMACD requests and coordinate scheduling, approvals, site requirements, equipment, and technicians
• document work in the ticketing system and knowledge articles
• maintain asset inventory and follow ESD precautions
• provide off-hours on-call support for P1/P2 tickets or scheduled activities
• travel to nearby sites when needed.

Why this role

Daily office work is required with no work-from-home arrangement; on-call support may be needed from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, weekends, and public holidays for P1/P2 tickets or scheduled activity.
