The Production Assembler, 1st Shift role is onsite in Staunton, VA. Pay is $24–$28 per hour. The assembler supports Wieland’s manufacturing of commercial and industrial HVAC heat exchangers; Wieland describes itself as a global copper and copper-alloy manufacturer, processor, and distributor. The role contributes to assembly and manufacturing by working from prints and instructions, operating tools and equipment, and checking finished work for quality and conformity. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

What you'll do

• Read and work from mechanical prints, schematics, bills of material, routing sheets, and other instructions
• work with raw and synthetic materials and follow safety and quality practices
• operate tools and equipment to assemble, paint, braze, test, handle, and move components and finished products
• use measuring and testing devices and visual inspection to verify quality and conformity
• and maintain required records. A power industrial truck license and use are required.
