The Senior Software Developer is an onsite role based in Gaithersburg, MD, with a salary range of $87,100 to $157,450 per year. This position supports the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) En-Route Automation Modernization (ERAM) program. This role exists to support new system capabilities and enhancements for the ERAM middleware layer, known as FlightDeck. The developer works on high-availability systems to improve the safety and efficiency of air traffic control operations.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain air traffic control software using Ada95 and C++, utilize KSH, Perl, and Python for automation, perform software development for the ERAM system, coordinate solutions with systems engineering, and develop new capabilities for the FlightDeck API.
