Product Development and Sourcing Manager – Confectionery

Job overview

The Product Development and Sourcing Manager – Confectionery is remote and may be based anywhere in the United States; the role requires regular domestic and international travel, estimated at 20–30%. Compensation is $110,000–$140,000 per year. Shameless Snacks develops better-for-you candy as part of eJam Inc., a consumer products incubator. The manager leads confectionery products from formulation through production and launch, coordinating suppliers, flavor houses, contract manufacturers, and internal partners to deliver products that meet sensory, nutritional, compliance, quality, and scale-up needs.

What you'll do

• Lead development, formulation, and production of candy products
• collaborate with flavor houses, ingredient suppliers, and contract manufacturers
• translate product briefs into viable formulations
• conduct factory visits and production trials
• manage vendor quality, compliance, and cost
• partner with packaging, marketing, and compliance teams
• track ingredient and confectionery technology developments.
