The caregiver provides companionship and assistance based on each client’s care plan, which may include personal care, household tasks, meal support, and transportation. The role contributes to clients’ comfort and safety while documenting care and reporting significant changes to the office.

What you'll do

• Depending on the client and care plan, provide companionship and emotional support
• assist with bathing, hygiene, grooming, toileting, transfers, dressing, walking, medication reminders, and home exercise plans
• help with meal preparation, feeding as appropriate, light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and appointment transportation
• use equipment safely
• document care activities in the Care Plan Book daily
• report significant client changes promptly.

Why this role

Prior caregiving experience, professional or personal, is required. High school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, current auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle are required. Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s, memory-care experience, and CPR/First Aid are preferred.
