The specialist identifies and evaluates sources for products needed for client quotations, contracts, and procurement activities. By sourcing hard-to-find and obsolete products, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring documentation and regulatory compliance, the role supports continuity of supply chains for critical platforms.

What you'll do

• Purchase merchandise at competitive prices and correct quantities
• prepare purchase orders, submit RFQs, and review requisitions
• analyze quoted pricing
• assess suppliers for cost, delivery reliability, certifications, and quality standards
• maintain vendor relationships
• source alternatives and contract manufacturing options
• identify manufacturers and supply-chain opportunities
• ensure certification and documentation compliance
• negotiate supplier terms and distribution agreements
• maintain sourcing across two to four product platforms and records of purchased items.
