Cost Accountant

The Cost Accountant is an onsite, full-time position in Hackettstown, NJ, with a salary range of $105,000–$110,000 per year. The role reports to the Corporate Controller and supports the company’s global manufacturing operations. The accountant maintains reliable product-costing and inventory information, reports manufacturing and purchasing variances, and works with Supply Chain, Operations, and international cost-accounting colleagues to investigate issues and support corrective action.

What you'll do

• Prepare weekly and month-end reports on purchase price variances, manufacturing variances, and inventory adjustments, including scrap
• maintain and improve costing methods
• uphold costing, cycle-count, and scrap controls
• analyze variances and collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations on root causes and corrective actions
• support inventory-policy compliance
• serve as an Epicor product-costing subject-matter expert and assist cost accountants at foreign sites.

Why this role
