The Registered Nurse (RN), ICU Step-Down / Neuro Surgical Step-Down – Nights role is onsite in Neptune, NJ, with a stated pay range of $62–$67 per hour. The role supports care in a Neuro Surgical Step-Down/ICU Step-Down setting for complex medical, neurological, cardiac, and post-surgical patients. The nurse provides comprehensive, higher-acuity care through assessment, individualized care planning, monitoring, treatment, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care to Neuro Surgical Step-Down/ICU Step-Down patients
• perform initial and ongoing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• monitor complex medical, neurological, cardiac, and post-surgical patients
• provide telemetry monitoring and higher-acuity interventions
• monitor cardiac rhythms and neurological status
• document care in EPIC
• provide ventilator-related care when required
• administer medications and treatments
• collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• educate patients and families
• follow infection-control and safety policies
• float to other units within competency
• work weekends and holidays as needed.
