Certified Medication Assistant, Long Term Care (LTC) position available in Nunda, SD. This is a Part Time role with a shift that varies and weekly hours of 12.00. The salary range is $21.00 - $28.00 per hour. Good Samaritan is a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of service to seniors. The Medication Assistant (MA) provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse, administering prescribed medications and documenting resident care outcomes. This role supports basic health care needs, including daily living activities and psycho-social support, ensuring residents receive age-appropriate care.

What you'll do

• Serves as caregiver providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administers prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Documents outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary.
• Communicates changing condition, medication follow-up and care related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
• Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs.
• Provides housekeeping and laundry services.
• Provides assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs.

What we're looking for

Education

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Experience

Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
