What you'll do

• Assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to procedures and diagnoses
• submit and follow up on claims to insurers, Medicare, and Medicaid
• resolve denials, rejections, and underpayments
• post payments and adjustments
• reconcile billing records
• verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-authorizations
• communicate with clinical staff and payers
• follow HIPAA and coding guidelines.
