What you'll do

• Recruit, hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage foodservice employees
• develop job descriptions and schedules
• monitor budgets and revenue-generating services
• plan food and supply purchases using forecasts and inventory records
• set food preparation standards
• participate in menu planning
• inspect meals
• manage special nourishments and supplemental feedings
• ensure safe food handling and sanitation
• process diet orders and updates
• complete assigned MDS sections
• coordinate dietary plans with a registered dietitian and physicians’ orders.
