The Intermediate Care Unit RN provides and coordinates high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves assessing patient condition, administering medications, documenting care, and educating patients and families.

What you'll do

• Assesses patient condition during admission and during each shift.
• Performs procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record.
• Performs the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Maintains knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
