Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist role is hybrid in Carmel, IN, with an annual salary of $60,000–$65,000. The generalist manages day-to-day HR processes and provides employee and leadership support across benefits, leave, compensation, employee relations, records, and compliance. This work helps maintain accurate HR operations and supports a positive, compliant workplace.

What you'll do

• Coordinate benefits processing, including enrollments, changes, claims, and compliance testing
• administer employee leaves, including FMLA and ADA accommodations
• support compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, investigations, and occupational health and safety
• assist with disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
• respond to employment-related inquiries and refer complex matters
• assist with job descriptions, pay plans, and compensation analysis
• maintain employment-law compliance and records
• manage HR administrative processes and employee inquiries
• support HR projects, employee records, HRIS input and reporting, onboarding, policies, communications, and recognition events
• maintain accurate and timely HR data
• complete HR audits and employment reports
• support handbook review
• maintain confidentiality under company policy and HIPAA Privacy Rule regulations.
