The Hourly Body Shop Technician role is onsite in McKees Rocks, PA. Compensation is not specified. Diehl Collision is expanding and hiring for collision repair work. The technician examines damaged vehicles, plans and performs repairs, and helps keep work safe, high-quality, and on schedule. The role also includes communicating repair status and directing an apprentice when needed.

What you'll do

• Examine damaged vehicles and plan repairs
• communicate repair status with others
• perform quality repairs with attention to timing
• decide whether to repair or replace parts based on safety, cost, and cycle time
• remove vehicle components to access repair areas
• attend required safety meetings
• file, grind, and sand repaired surfaces
• direct and explain tasks to an apprentice when needed.
