Fisheries Accountant

The Fisheries Accountant role is onsite in Kodiak, AK, with compensation of $23.36–$26.52 per hour. The role supports Pacific Seafood’s Alaskan administrative team and its fishery operations. The position oversees timely, accurate vessel transaction processing, third-party reporting, and office support. It helps maintain accurate fish ticket records and settlements and supports compliance reporting for Alaska operations.

What you'll do

• Review and process fish tickets and vessel transactions
• train tender operators, fishers, and dock crew on fish ticket processes
• apply vessel invoices and prepare boat settlements
• coordinate vendor setup and fleet-related ticket issues
• prepare ADFG, NMFS, and NOAA reports
• assist with production reporting and compliance activities
• support Alaska processing plants and office functions.

Why this role

Accounting degree and 4–6 years of accounting or related experience required; accounting certification preferred. Peak-season availability may include up to 7 days per week and shifts up to 12 hours a day, 6 days a week.
