The Quality Manager — Aerospace Star Tracker Systems role is onsite in Englewood, CO, with compensation of $120,000–$155,000 per year. Sodern America is establishing U.S. operations and manufacturing for its space and defense products; this founding-team role will build the company’s quality infrastructure. The manager establishes and leads quality systems and inspection processes so U.S.-manufactured Star Trackers meet AS9100, customer, and regulatory requirements. The role drives audits, supplier oversight, corrective action, and continuous improvement while coordinating with Sodern France’s quality organization.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain the Quality Management System aligned with AS9100, ISO 9001, and applicable customer and government requirements
- establish inspection, testing, and acceptance criteria
- lead root-cause analysis and corrective action
- lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits
- support supplier qualification and performance monitoring
- maintain calibration, traceability, and configuration management systems
- support contract compliance and customer quality reviews
- monitor quality KPIs and adjust staffing or processes as needed.
