The Educational Tutor, Montessori Math and Phonics role is onsite in Los Angeles, CA. Compensation is $23–$33 per hour. Canvas & Climb is opening an enrichment center in West Los Angeles to support young children through Montessori pods, tutoring, and enrichment classes. The teacher leads private and small-group classes for children ages 3–13, adapting lessons to individual developmental needs and learning styles. The role supports children’s curiosity, independence, confidence, and learning through prepared lessons, Montessori practice, and communication with parents.

What you'll do

• Lead private and semi-private classes for children ages 3–13
• prepare and maintain an organized classroom
• observe children and tailor guidance to developmental needs
• prepare session-specific lesson plans
• develop and document a work-cycle outline or template
• uphold Montessori principles
• foster an inclusive classroom
• communicate with parents
• adapt teaching based on observation and assessment
• share session summaries with parents.
