What you'll do

• Research CMF, consumer, lifestyle, and manufacturing trends
• explore materials, coatings, textures, graphics, and application processes
• develop finish concepts and samples
• identify supplier technologies
• translate creative ideas into technical solutions
• develop finishes for product platforms
• coordinate testing for durability, adhesion, chemical resistance, wear, and appearance
• document results and specifications
• maintain a finish database and physical library
• ensure performance, quality, regulatory, and compliance requirements are met.
