Business Analyst, Demand Forecasting

The Business Analyst, Demand Forecasting role is hybrid, with a preferred three days onsite in Burlingame, CA; remote candidates in the Pacific time zone may also be considered. Compensation is not specified. The analyst supports consumer hardware product lines and production and launch decisions for an itD client. The role builds and maintains demand forecasts, analyzes sales performance, and translates large datasets into recommendations. By identifying forecast gaps and communicating assumptions and business drivers, the analyst helps cross-functional teams make informed demand, production, and product-launch decisions.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain Sell-Through and Sell-In forecasts
• partner with sales, category management, analytics, marketing, and channel operations
• track weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance
• analyze actuals against forecasts and goals
• identify root causes and mitigation plans
• analyze datasets
• present forecast results and recommendations.
