This role is vital to the food supply chain, responsible for delivering and unloading food products to customers in a safe and timely manner, building lasting customer relationships.

What you'll do

• Performs all required safety checks (pre/post trip).
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
• Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
• Performs count check of items and checks customer invoices.
• Moves tractor to loading dock and attaches preloaded trailer.
• Drives to and delivers customer orders.
• Unloads products and transports items into designated customer storage areas.
• Performs damage control checks.
• Verifies delivery and obtains signatures.
• Collects money where required.
• Loads customer returns and secures trailer doors.
• Unloads damaged goods and customer returns.
• Completes daily record of hours of service.
• Performs general housekeeping duties.

What we're looking for

Education

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

Experience

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent, 6+ months foodservice distribution industry experience, Valid CDL-A/B, Must be 21+ years of age, Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years, Valid current DOT Health Card
