The Program Aide I role is onsite in Tucson, AZ, and pays $15.50–$18.60 per hour. The position supports teaching staff at a licensed childcare and preschool/after-school facility serving children ages 3 through 12. Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona works to strengthen families, support communities, and provide compassionate services. The aide helps prepare and support classroom and recreational activities, assists children during meals, rest, and play, and helps maintain a safe, clean environment. The role also supports meal-program records and service, while after-school and summer activities or child transportation may be assigned.

What you'll do

• Assist with classroom activity setup and materials
• support children in classroom activities
• assist during meals, nap time, and indoor and outdoor play
• follow licensing and program standards
• maintain a clean and safe environment and monitor behavior
• assist with meal service, handwashing supervision, meal counts, and records
• maintain program records. May assist with after-school and summer activities, transport children, or drive an agency or personal vehicle on company business.
