What you'll do

• Coordinate vessel and barge movements and truck loadings with customers
• assist general fleeting operations
• coordinate shore-based personnel
• manage facility access and interface with regulatory bodies
• load and discharge liquid cargo
• connect and disconnect hoses and align valves
• check pumps and engines
• monitor cargo flow and mooring lines
• operate forklifts and hydraulic cranes
• track inventory
• maintain equipment and facility cleanliness
• complete required paperwork and logs
• train and assess dockmen
• conduct job safety analyses, drills, and emergency response.

Why this role
