What you'll do

• Support menu nutrition compliance with USDA guidelines and help develop and analyze healthy school menus
• assist with budget management and food orders
• prepare and serve daily meals
• supervise residents in the serving area as needed
• maintain food program records, inventory, and required reports
• keep the food-serving environment clean and safe
• maintain required food handler certification
• assist residential staff in emergencies as needed.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, six months in a child-care-based field, one year of National School Lunch Program or food-service experience, and 1+ years of USDA or national program experience. Texas driver's license and food handler certificate are required; CPR/First Aid and SAMA certifications are provided. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
